Lil’ Miracle, Phoenix {Sacramento Preemie Newborn Photographer}

So Phoenix is what I consider a little miracle. He was born at 26 weeks gestation and just 1 lb 15 oz. He had an almost 3 month stay in the NICU and is just as strong as can be. Preemies hold a special place in my heart with my hospital background. They are such strong, resilient little beings!!! Phoenix came to see me the day after he was discharged from the hosital!
Being that he was a little “older,” there was some awake time but we took advantage of it!  Although he was more sensitive to touch, he slept most of the session!
He flashed a few smiles for me too. 🙂
