I had so many ideas floating around in my head for this session… then as I drove from sunny, warm Sacramento down to Santa Cruz… the sun disappeared behind one of those lovely coastal overcast skies. This is bitter sweet because overcast days aren’t exactly a photographer’s enemy. Clouds act as a natural filter for us. BUT- some of my ideas revolved around some nice, warm, setting sun. You never know what you are going to get with the Northern California beach, but we definitely made the most out of it. Here’s some of my favorites.
Who needs sun to have fun on the beach?!?
Such a beautiful family…
A couple pics of just Corie and that 38 week bump of hers (she delivered a day and a half later…!!!)
I was warned that Miss Elle did not like the C-O-L-D… and it was a brisk 61 degrees on the beach that day. She would make this cute “I’m cold!” face, ball up her fists, and shake just to demonstrate how cold she was…
This was just Elle hammin it up 🙂
And I will end with this one… I love how full of LOVE this picture is
Thank you “M” family for letting me drag you out onto this cold beach. Maybe we will have sun when we do a beach session for baby # 3….! LOL
